Conseno is an EU-based fully-remote team of skilled engineers and marketers that builds a consent and data privacy platform for eCommerce stores.
In short, we help eCommerce companies to:
- collect, manage, and document website visitors’ consents, and maintain legal compliance in accordance with regional and global privacy regulations
- gain valuable business insights from the privacy-safe data
We believe that eCommerce stores should respect consumers’ data privacy and build trust with their customers through freedom of choice. And marketers should be able to continue making data-informed decisions in a privacy-safe way.
As a company, we are on a growth trajectory and looking for help for our ambitious software engineering team.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- You’ll be developing and improving our existing data privacy scanner (monitoring tool) that scans our customers’ websites daily. It’s built in Node.js and configured in AWS.
- You’ll be developing and improving our existing consent mechanism/script that is installed on our customers’ websites and helps to ensure they are always compliant. This script is currently written in plain JavaScript.
- You’ll be developing and improving our existing data collection and reporting system to display the correct and relevant data to our customers. We’re currently using ClickHouse because of its speed.
- You’ll provide technical guidance to our development team and customers (developers and marketers) on various product-related ad-hoc and technical implementation questions.
- You’ll learn a lot about various tracking technologies, methods, and services.
- You’ll have regular calls with a fully remote and supportive team to share your learnings, insights, and knowledge.

* Your monthly salary will range from $4000 to $6000, depending on your effort and results. You will invoice us under a B2B contract.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- You have in-depth experience configuring and maintaining AWS (S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Batch, CodeBuild, etc). You can demonstrate your skills.
- You’re highly experienced with JavaScript, HTML and SQL. You can demonstrate it.
- You have a deep understanding of how web browsers work, and you're familiar with various tracking vectors, such as cookies, HTML5 storage, fingerprinting, CNAME cloaking, etc.
- You’re excellent in written and spoken English.
- You’re highly organized and detail-oriented – you do your research, plan, prioritize, set goals, and stick to them.
- You’re open to constructive feedback and willing to learn and adjust.
- You’re a proactive and self-driven person who gets things done on time without being micromanaged.
- You’re a curious person who’s always trying to improve your knowledge by reading industry blogs, listening to podcasts, and experimenting with new technologies.
- You have access to a high-speed and reliable internet connection.
- You’ll be able to work full-time (up to 40 hours per week).
Strategic thinking, complex problem-solving, and software development skills are required to succeed in this position. We’re looking for a proactive person who’s willing to take initiative and grow fast.
